Black Diamond Coal Slag provides enhanced speed and cutting for excellent cleaning ability. The 1240 grade provides a moderate profile and is used for a near white blast. It is often used for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting of coated steel surfaces and blasts through medium to heavy coatings, heavy rust and heavy mill scale.
