 Metal
building insulation is used for pole buildings and pre-engineered
steel buildings.
Insulation
is laminated with using an insulation
laminator. The insulation laminator glues polypropylene
facing on the insulation. When laminated R19, 6 inch
insulation,
is reduced in size. It is certified to go back to it's
original
size and R-Value.
Vapor
Barrier Facings Available on APi Metal Building Insulation:
 APi
2550 Vinyl
A reasonable priced insulation facing with excellent
handling characteristics. Vinyl is flexible enough
to allow
stretching during installation to avoid wavy appearance
and wrinkles. This facing is recommended for installation
when color and economy are desired. Vinyls are thermoplastic.
They become more pliable as the temperature increases.
The reverse is also true. Vinyl with a low work ability
rang of 25 deg. F will be almost brittle and should
be handled with extreme care.
APi
2550 facing is available with either one 6" or two 3"
tabs.

Panel Fiberglass
Plain Panel Fiberglass MBP insulation is an unsurfaced insulation primarily used
as filler insulation in roofs, sidewalls, and pre-insulated panels. It is normally
applied as a second layer over the unfaced side of metal building insulation
202. It can also be used as a retrofit insulation between an existing roof deck
and a new standing seam roof.

Peck Proof
APi Peck Proof is a white tinted cross-laminated high-density polyethylene vapor
barrier. This insulation facing is recommended where birds are present and extra
